Preliminary Disinfection Improvements - Stamford, CT

Improvements to the preliminary, secondary, and disinfection treatment systems, including: replacement of influent screenings and pumping systems, addition of new septage receiving station and odor control improvements in the Screen Building & Raw Sewage Pumping Station; modifications to the aeration basins, replacement of aeration blowers and new dissolved oxygen (DO) control system for optimizing nitrogen removal in the secondary treatment process. Replacement of (UV) disinfection system with a new two-basin, three-channel system, including provisions for a fourth future channel.
