The work includes the replacement of various process equipment and systems at the Waterbury Water Pollution Control Facility. Equipment slated for removal and replacement includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: Three Primary Sludge Pumps and two associated Grinders in the Primary Sludge PS. Three single stage Centrifugal Process Air Blowers and all associated appurtenances. The UV Disinfection Equipment at the Chemical Building. Secondary Clarifiers No. 1 – 6 Mechanisms and all associated appurtenances.
